Fire crews have arrived. Traffic standstill. Avoid ring road.”
Documentary-makers at Angel Sharp Media tweeted: "BUS ON FIRE. Driver is safe. Emergency services just arriving."

Dramatic footage showed a queue of cars at a standstill, with plumes of smoke billowing from the vehicle.

The driver reportedly got out and ran to the other side of the road after the bus started overheating.

Nazmin Miah, who is stuck in the traffic, said cars were being let through as of 8.45pm.

Another eyewitness added: "It was very dramatic – oncoming cars were driving through huge clouds of smoke with their headlights lighting the flames and smoke up.
"The small flames started inside the bus in the middle, then they started growing. We couldn't quite believe it.

"Then the back window smashed with a loud noise, and flames started pouring out of the windows."
